The Margaret T. Morris Center

Since 1999, The Margaret T. Morris Center assisted living community has been providing care for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Whether care is permanently needed or on a short term respite basis, the MTMC staff is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and nurturing community. MTMC follows the Person Centered Care philosophy and is the only assisted living community specializing in memory care which also holds CARF accreditation in Northern Arizona.

MTMC is committed to its residents’ health and wellness and offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in which all residents are encouraged to participate.

The fully-secured building sits in front of an award-winning garden featuring heirloom apple trees, walking paths and sitting areas. The National Wildlife Federation designated the garden a certified Wildlife Habitat in 2006. Weather permitting, activity and resident assistants conduct daily walks with the residents, and a patio awaits those who just want to sit and enjoy Prescott’s fresh mountain air. The Margaret T. Morris Center's horticultural therapist creates stimulating gardening and plant programs bringing back memories of yesteryear.
