Residents of The Elms enjoy such services as gourmet meals three times a day, complimentary transportation to appointments and shopping, complimentary laundry and housekeeping services, a full activities calendar as well as personalized care services if requested. There is no buy-in or lease requested.

The Carriage House and Chestnut Cottage are the two dedicated communities for the care of those with Alzheimer's and other memory disorders on The Elms campus. The specially trained staff is lead by a Master Trainer of Alzheimer's care that has earned national recognition for her work. The Carriage House and Chestnut Cottage with their small populations are recognized as two of the best facilities of their kind in the country. Their monthly fee is inclusive of all services and there is no buy-in or lease required.
