Voting and Dementia: A Slippery Slope
Recently, an 86-year-old woman made headlines for voting twice in the 2012 primary election. Forgetting that she had already voted by absentee ballot, Margaret Schneider went to the polls on election day and cast her ballot a second time.


Some believe that once you reach retirement, you’re no longer required to give. You spent years paying into the system, and now it’s your time to kick back, relax, and reap the rewards of all your hard work.
Many people – especially the introverts among us – enjoy solitude. Rather than a curse, solitude is an excellent means of recharging our batteries and reveling in the beauty of silence.
