Operating 316 senior living communities throughout the US, Canada, and even in the United Kingdom, Sunrise has added a new component to their services: in August, the Virginia-based company launched a blog for seniors, their caregivers, and elder care professionals. Per this press release, the blog will be updated on a daily basis, providing “a repository of news articles, tips, advice and other information related to Sunrise and senior living.”

Alzheimer’s care, finances and planning, and senior leisure/lifestyle are among the topics that will be covered within the blog. Regular contributors include some of Sunrise Senior Living’s in-house experts: Tim Whelan, VP of Dining Services, and Rita Altman, VP of Memory Care & Programming.
