Of all the short sided self-centered idosyncratic crap. This "all about me" mentality is what drives the liberal socialist agenda, without any concern for the overall cost or consequences. It's time that we all face the fact that Social Security was a bad idea in the beginning, and look for ways to unwind the boondoggle. The bad news is that no matter what, a lot of people are going to experience discomfort. Oh well. What's really sad is how our "Greatest Generation" bought into this socialist plan that was never intended to be a retirement plan at all. It was supposed to be a suppliment - a band aid. But it's happening again. How exactly is Obama going to ensure "Social Security is solvent and viable for the American people, now and in the future?" He can't do that with any specific plan other than just the typical politician's promises, and you're all being suckered into the dark vortex of false hope. Obama isn't being honest about anything he's promising because he can't even deliver specifics to accomplish any of his grand promises for "CHANGE." It's all rhetoric. How is that honest? The only change he's bringing with him is change away from our American way of life, to Socialism. What's even sadder is our willingness to give up our freedom and individualism that made us great for the false hope of "security." Benjamin Franklin said "He who would trade liberty for some security, deserves neither liberty nor security." That goes for us today as ever before. So reap what you sow suckers. We deserve it. Grab on to your buts, cause this one is gonna hurt!
